We are a family of four from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Charles does Christian community development in Pittsburgh, and Liz is a geochemist who teaches college and consults in the oil and gas industry. Our kids love the beach, but hate long road trips, so Lake Erie is our favorite destination for short getaways! We discovered the lovely town of Ashtabula through a Zillow search for houses near public beaches :). The town truly is a hidden gem, and we are blessed to own two houses there for our own use as well as vacationers’!
